With the recent innovations that have been made to AI and that have been pushed to the public, many self proclaimed "AI artists" have surfaced. Although the definition of what art is is quite wide, it certainly doesn't have anything to do with asking a robot to generate an image through the means of a prompt. The use of the term "prompstitute" aims to discredit fraudulent individuals who try to pass as "artists" and thus ruin job opportunities for actual artists who dedicate themselves to their craft. Additionally, discrediting such person will also discourage the process through which AI sources its "art" (copying artwork fitting the description and piecing it back together).
